Hi there – we’re Scott and Odette Telomere, the husband-and-wife team behind Mosquito Tiger!

Our story began nearly three decades ago at Clemson University, where we first met in a biology class (Scott was late, Odette had already aced the quiz). We bonded over a shared love of science, southern food, and the occasional tailgate party – and we’ve been together ever since. We got married shortly after graduating in 1999, and have been side-by-side in both life and business ever since.

After college, Scott dove into the pest control industry, drawn to the mix of fieldwork, diagnostics, and helping families take back their yards. Odette, meanwhile, took a more academic route, pursuing work in entomological research and environmental studies, fascinated by the behavior and biology of insects. For years, we joked that we were both "fighting bugs"—just from different angles.

Eventually, Scott convinced Odette to bring her scientific insight and organizational magic into the business full-time. The result? A seamless blend of field expertise and behind-the-scenes precision that powers everything we do at Mosquito Tiger. Seven years ago, we made Houston our home. We fell in love with the community, the energy, and yes – even the heat (although the mosquitoes? Not so much). We saw an opportunity to bring our decades of experience to the local area and launched Mosquito Tiger with a simple mission: deliver affordable, effective, and contract-free mosquito control to homeowners and businesses across Greater Houston.

And why the name Mosquito Tiger? Well, let’s just say we couldn’t resist a little nod to our Clemson roots. The "Tiger" in our name is a tribute to where it all started – and where we first learned how to tackle problems head-on, with grit and heart.
